Come As You Are

Our 10:30am Sunday morning service is casual and contemporary.  When we say "come as you are," we're serious.  Come just as you are.  You simply being present to enjoy the music and hear the amazing message of God's love and forgiveness is what's most important.  We start with a time of worship through music.  If you like Rend Collective, Hillsong, Housefires, Chris Tomlin or Jeremy Camp, then you'll like our approach to worship.  Then we'll have a brief welcome and transition to the message.  The whole service is usually about 1 hour and 15 minutes long, and we like to conclude by inviting everyone to enjoy refreshments in our cafe area afterwards.  We'd love for you to come and visit us on a Sunday morning for our 10:30 am service.  We think you'll feel right at home.

THe Music

Guitar, Keyboard, Violin, Percussion, Bass.  Depending on the Sunday, we tend to have a little of everything.  But the most important part of our time is the focus on God, on His goodness and our need for Him in our lives.  When you hear songs by Rend Collective, Chris Tomlin, Hillsong, Housefires and Casting Crowns on your playlists, you'll have an idea of the types of songs we typically sing at FCB.

Every Sunday @ 10:30 am

The Message

Simply put, we want the message to make sense.  Each week it may challenge, encourage and motivate you to dig deeper into Scripture, but it's important to us that the message makes sense in a way that you can practically apply to your life.

Oftentimes we'll step through books of the Bible. Other times we'll focus on the life and words of Jesus or the letters of Paul or a subject area that answers a key question about God or the Bible that you might have.

Recent message series include "Conversations with Jesus" and "Nehemiah: Pursuing God's Will One Step at a Time."

Just Hang Out

Enjoy coffee and refreshments in our cafe area before or after the service.  It's a cafe area, but it's really more than that.  It's a place to hang out and build relationships.  It's a place to laugh with one another, to just be real with one another, to connect at a deeper level.

Many of us at FCB moved to Burbank from other parts of the country, so Sunday mornings are a great time to enjoy "extended family" Burbank style.

First Time at FCB?

We know that attending a church service for the first time can seem intimidating.

Being unsure of what the dress, culture, or even when to stand up and sit down can be a weirdly paralyzing thought!

At FCB, you can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God in a personal way.  You will be encouraged and maybe even challenged.

It's our hope that you'll feel like you're with family!
