Greg has just arrived in Burbank after serving on staff at Metro Community Church near St. Louis as the Vandalia campus pastor. With family roots in central Kentucky, Greg pursued a career in computer science throughout his 20s, working for IBM and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Eventually God took him down a different path of full-time ministry, and Greg has since pastored churches in both the Raleigh, NC, and Atlanta, GA, areas. He is a graduate of Southeastern Seminary (Wake Forest, NC) and completed doctoral studies at Southern Seminary (Louisville, KY).
Greg enjoys reading and almost anything athletic, especially running and basketball (including being an avid Kentucky basketball fan). He has a passion for seeing lives impacted by Christ and enjoys serving the community in very practical ways (including the Big Brothers program and tutoring in local schools).
Nate has been happily married to his wife, Amy, since 2005. The Frey's have lived in Burbank Since May of 2007. Nate works full time for USC and serves as the Worship Leader at the church. He just received a Master's degree in Civil Engineering at USC this May. Amy works part time in Burbank as a Gymnastics Coordinator and serves in multiple growth ministries at the church. Both Nate and Amy were on staff with student ministries at USC and Cal State Fullerton before coming to serve at FCB. The Frey's have been active in the Los Angeles County foster system for the past several years and have recently been blessed to be able to adopt two children through that system.
